Zelda P. Pittman, 88, of Frostproof passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday, April 19, 2008 at her residence.

Born May 7, 1919 in Smith’s Grove, KY; she came to Frostproof from Land O’ Lakes, FL 3 months ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Land O’ Lakes.

Zelda was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest C. Pittman; and two daughters, Judy LeRose and Darla Legut. Survivors include her daughter, Pam and husband, Alex, Rybinski of Frostproof; son, Ernie and wife, Patty, Pittman of Frostproof; 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Memorial services will be held 6:00 PM, Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in Land O’ Lakes. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the First United Methodist Church in Land O’ Lakes.
