Yvonne Manning

Yvonne Manning of Frostproof passed away Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center in Haines City.

Yvonne was born July 26, 1947 in Cordele, GA; she was a lifelong resident of the area. She owned and operated ER Manning Citrus Contractor, Inc. alongside her husband and children, and of the Pentecostal faith. She was a great caretaker; she lived to take care of her family, loved to crochet and was a great mother. She enjoyed watching "Law and Order".

She was preceded in death by her father, Loyd Moreland and a sister, Gail Walker. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Ernest Manning; daughters, Katina Manning of Frostproof and Erika Manning of Frostproof; son, Noonie Manning of Frostproof; mother, Marie Moreland of Frostproof; sisters, Erleen, Faye, Carol, Gwen and Cindy; brother, Loyd; and one grandson, Isaac.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Church on the Ridge in Frostproof with Rev. Kelly Galati officiating. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
