Yngve “Manny” Hokanson of Lake Wales passed away Monday, October 20, 2008 at the Dove Health Care.

Born December 3, 1910 in Varmland, Sweden; he came here in 1982 from Syracuse, NY. He was an engineer for Bell Aircraft and the owner/operator of Hokanson Sales & Service. He loved ballroom dancing and woodworking and played the harmonica.

Manny was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Dickquist Hokanson. Surviors include his daughter, Joan Maria Hartshorn of Lake Wales and Diane Hokanson of Summerfield; son, Raymond Hokanson of Baldwinsville, NY; 9 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
