Winn Thomas Egan died quietly in her home on Labor Day. Born in 1933 in Long Island, New York, she married Paul V. Egan and moved to Fort Lauderdale in 1953. They lived in Babson Park seasonally until 1979, when the family relocated there permanently. She is mother of six and lifelong homemaker. She was a prolific painter, and active in Water Aerobics, Meals on Wheels, and Red Cross Disaster Relief. She was predeceased by her husband in 2001 in their 48th year of marriage; also predeceased by her sons Mark V. Egan and Paul G. Egan. She is survived by children Chris S. Egan, Thomas M. Egan, Marian L. Egan, Pamela G. Colker; her sister Mary Kuenzel, nineteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorial donations to the Lake Wales Care Center.
