Winifred Morris Guerdon

Winifred Morris Guerdon, a cherished member of her community and loving family, passed away on January 19, 2026, at AdventHealth Lake Wales. She was born on August 7, 1925, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Winifred's vibrant spirit touched many lives throughout her years as a Physical Therapy Assistant. A devoted member of Gainesville Presbyterian Church, she continued to nurture her faith at Lake Wales Presbyterian Church after relocating there two years ago. Winifred had a passion for helping others and generously volunteered her time working with children. Additionally, she served as a poll worker during elections, illustrating her commitment to her civic duties and her community. Winifred had a creative side as well; she found joy in doing decoupage, a hobby she cherished. Above all, she adored spending time with children, bringing smiles and warmth wherever she went.

Winifred is survived by her husband, James Guerdon; her son, Richard Guerdon of Sunderland, Massachusetts; and five beloved grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Guerdon; her sons, Thomas Guerdon and Michael Guerdon; and her sister, Marjorie.
