Winfield Scott Moravec

Winfield Scott Moravec of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at the Dove Health Care.

He was born December 26, 1915 in St. Paul, MN. Mr. Moravec was a veteran of World War II, serving his country in Europe and Africa in the U.S. Army. He was a great, kind, caring and generous man who always made sure the needs of others were taken care of.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Margie. Survivors include his wife, Colleen E. Moravec; sons, Mike (Donna) Moravec of St. Louis Park, MN, Tom (Kathy) Moravec of Maple Grove, MN, Jack (Susan) Moravec of Shakopee, MN and Steve (Shirley) Moravec of Lebanon, TN; step-daughters, Collette Younan of Woodbury, MN, Corrine Moe of Englewood, FL and Linda (Bill) McIntyre of Clear Lake, WI; step-son, Ken (Linda Lee) Arnold of Colorado Springs, CO; sisters, Millie (Jack) Grealish of St. Paul, MN and Esther Terrell of Rochester, MN; 22 grandchildren & 19 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Minnesota.
