Wilma Jean Picnic

Wilma Jean Picnic of Lake Wales passed away Monday, June 1, 2009 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born June 12, 1932 in Cedar Bluff, VA to the late George & Sophie Lowe; she came here from Maryland in 1988. She was a Christian, a good friend to many, a good mother and wife. She will be missed on this earth by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her son, Vernon. She is survived by her husband, George Picnic, whom she was married to for 58 years; two sons, Darrell and Gary Picnic; one daughter, Kathy Picnic; daughter-in-law, Linda Picnic; grandsons, William and Christopher Picnic; two brothers, Wilkey Dyer Lowe and Marvin Lowe; and one sister, Juanita Clyatt.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Friday, June 5, 2009 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales. Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the Gandy Baptist Church in Connersville. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
