WILLIE LEE COKER, 82
Willie Lee Coker of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014 at her residence.
She was born June 19, 1931 in Metter, GA to the late Samuel B. & Maudie E. Nelson; and she came here from Seville in 1957. She was the owner/operator of Coker’s Handi-Van and Coker Nursing & Sitter Agency. She was of the Baptist faith and liked cooking, baking, roses, reading, attending to her dogs, traveling and Alan Jackson concerts.

Willie was preceded in death by her first husband, James E. Mixon, second husband, James E. Coker and son, John R. “Bobby” Mixon. Survivors include her daughter, Mildred Anita Mixon of Palm Beach Gardens; sons, Eddie Mixon, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV, Randall E. Nelson and wife, Michelle of Lake Charles, LA and Brian “Steve” Mixon of Lake Wales; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am Monday, May 12, 2014 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. David Koon officiating. Interment will be held at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
