FROSTPROOF -- Mr. William Franklin Woodward of Frostproof died of kidney failure Monday (Dec. 12, 2005) at Florida Hospital in Sebring. He was 80.

Born in Baltimore on Aug. 22, 1925, he came to Frostproof from Second Creek, W. Va., in 1992. He was a glass installer at Jr's Auto Glass. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a Protestant.

Mr. Woodward is survived by his wife, Jane R. Woodward; daughters, Maryjane O'Reilly, Voluntown, Conn.; sons, John Patrick Woodward, Ocean Springs, Miss., George Thomas Woodward, Arnold, Md., John Shannon Woodward, Maryland, Shawn Riley Woodward, Frostproof; 10 grandchildren; two great-grand-children.

Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Marion Nelson Funeral Home of Lake Wales.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, American Kidney Fund, or the American Diabetes Association.
