William Franklin Waters

Frank “Buddy” Waters, 72 of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at his residence.

He was born February 9, 1942 in Lake Wales, Florida to the late Clifton and Marie (Daughtry) Waters and he has been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a Supervisor for Florida National Growers. Frank enjoyed fishing, boating on his pontoon boat, Yankees baseball, Hockey, old western movies, wrestling and he attended the Winter Haven Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Matt, sister, Judy Collins, brothers, Lamar Waters and Olan Waters passing 9/13/2014.

Survivors include his wife, Genny Waters, daughters, Debbie Waters of Hudson, Janet Partain and husband Rick of Babson Park; son, David Waters of Lake Wales, sister, Gwen Foster of Lake Wales; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph Heard officiating. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Friday, September 19, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
