William "Rusty" Russell Vannoy

William “Rusty” VanNoy of Lake Wales passed away January 23, 2013 at Unity Medical Center in Grafton, ND.

He was born January 20, 1966 in Marietta, OH; and came here from Palm Coast three years ago. He was an Entrepreneur who owned and operated Beach Bummz in Flagler Beach, Florida. Rusty was currently working as a chemical handler for Storm Engineering. He was an avid Minnesota Viking fan and was a very fun and loving man. He was also a devoted animal lover who was considered dad by three dogs and four cats.

Survivors include his love of 20 years, Debbie Smithburger; daughters, Tanika VanNoy of Savannah, GA and Ashley Patterson of Savannah, GA; mother, Nancy VanNoy of St. Mary’s, WV; and three grandchildren, Madison, Chase and Jackson. He is preceded in death by his father; Ted VanNoy and his brother Jay VanNoy.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the funeral service at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.

Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
