William Lee Peek

William Lee Peek, 70

William Lee Peek of Lake Wales passed away Friday, September 27, 2024, at AdventHealth Lake Wales.

He was born December 23, 1953, in Riverside, California to the late Earl and Fern Peek; he moved to Lake Wales from Palm Beach County. William was a retired hydraulic mechanic technician for South Florida Water Management. He loved to fish with his son and do anything technical. William enjoyed his HAM radio and was always eager to learn a new skill. He never met a stranger.

William is survived by his wife of 17 years, Gail Jumper; son, Mark Peek (Tong) of Bellevue and Travis Peek (Jennifer) of Lithia; brother, Don Peek (Bonnie) of Lyons, Oregon; and grandchildren; Matthew, Madison, and Calvin.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 5, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Lake Wales with Dr. Scott Markley officiating.
