LAKE WALES--William E. “Bill” Mathewson of Lake Wales & Formerly of Cabot, AR died Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, Fl.
Born December 21, 1924 in Milford, Illinois. He came to the area 6 months ago from Columbus, Georgia. He was a member of Praise Assembly of God in Little Rock, AR, A Veteran of WWII serving in the US Navy, A Member of the DAV

Survived by: Wife: Joyce Ann Mathewson of Lake Wales, Fl., Daughters: Cindy Mathewson, Mona Mathewson, Step Daughter: Brenda J. Gentry of Lakeland, Fl., Sons: Rick Mathewson, Daryl Mathewson: Step Son: Steven Paul McSwain of Great Falls, Montana, Sister: Dorothy Letzfeld of Illinois, 4 Grandchildren
Funeral services will be held 10:00 Am Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Perry officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 until service time. Interment will be held at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
