William H. Knight Jr.

William Henry Knight Jr. 85 William H. Knight of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Lake Wales Medical Center. He was born September 21, 1930 in Abington, Pennsylvania to the late William H. and Marian (Hedrick) Knight. He has been a resident of the area for 11 years coming from Chalfont, Pennsylvania. He was a Carpenter for the Carpenters Union of Philadelphia Local 8. He was a Veteran in the United States Navy. He was a Union Member and ran the children’s pirate ship at Fantasy Island in Beach Haven, New Jersey he was known as “Captain Bill”. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Florence Knight, daughter Deborah Lombardo (Daniel) of Doylestown, PA, sons William H. Knight III of Warminster, PA, James Robert Knight of Kintnersville, PA, sister Mary Bunn of Pipersville, PA, nephew Steven Bunn, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 2:00PM Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Bullington officiating.
