William Sherman Howard

William S. “Bill” Howard, 89 of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Monday, February 9, 2015 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

He was born November 10, 1925 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to the late John and Stella Mae Howard. He was a retired Aircraft Mechanic for Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Bill enjoyed reading and western movies. He was a veteran of WWII and Korea serving in the US Navy. He was a member of the Asher First Baptist Church in Asher, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta Howard in 2003
Survivors include his daughter, Sherri Scott and husband Harold of Lake Wales; step son, John McNutt of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren, Billy Dozier and Angela Van Batavia; 5 great grandchildren, Kamryn, Jackson, Sutton, Marin and Louis.

Graveside services will be held at a later date at the Sunnylane Cemetery in Del City, Oklahoma.
