WILLIAM LEE “BILLY-BOY” HOAG, 73

William Lee “Billy-Boy” Hoag, 73, of Frostproof passed away Thursday, February 7, 2008 at his daughter’s residence.

Born April 1, 1934 in Adrian, MI; he moved to Florida in 1980 from Adrian, MI. He was a retired electrician. He served in the National Guard from 1951 until 1954 in Adrian, MI. He was an avid golfer, loved shooting pool, camping, playing cards, watching his grandchildren play sports and singing at church.

William was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Sondra; son, David Hoag, daughter, Cynitha Hoag, parents, Clarence & Ruth Hoag; sisters, Marjorie & Shirley; and brothers, Larry & David. Survivors include his son, Robert & Patty Hoag of Brooklyn, MI; daughters, Debra Morin of Clayton, MI; Patricia & Donnie Smith of Lake Wales; sister, Mary & Jim Lawrence Dillion of Frostproof; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and his companion for the past five years, Lela Riggins.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Saturday, February 9, 2008 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 10, 2008 at the funeral home.
