William Kent Hardee, fondly known as Kent, was born on May 27, 1970, in Winter Haven, Florida, and he passed away on February 12, 2026, at AdventHealth Lake Wales. He dedicated his professional life to serving as a manager for Gold Coast Utilities, where he was respected for his leadership and commitment to excellence.

Kent was a man of many passions. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, finding great joy in embracing the great outdoors. His love for boating often brought him closer to nature and provided cherished moments spent with family. Kent's heart was filled with devotion to The Lord, and his warm spirit meant that he never met a stranger, always welcoming new friendships with open arms.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Angie Hardee, who resides in Lake Wales, Florida. Kent's legacy continues through his daughters, Karen Schneider and husband John of Babson Park, Florida, and Mickala Avery of Lake Wales, Florida. He is also survived by his sister, April Leviner of Longs, South Carolina, and his brothers, Lee Hardee and wife Courtney of Lakeland, Florida, Jody Thompson and wife Stephanie of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Kent will be greatly missed by his father, Rev. Ken Hardee and wife Andrea of Lake City, and his mother, Wanda Thompson and husband Rex of Tabor City, North Carolina, as well as 6 Grandchildren, Westyn, Bentley, Bella, Braelyn, Kaiden, and Lilly.

Kent was predeceased by his son, Steven Cline II, whose memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved them both. As we remember Kent, we celebrate his legacy of love, kindness, and the countless lives he touched throughout his time with us.
