William “Russell” Griffith, 73

Russel Griffith of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025 , at his residence.

Russell was born on March 25, 1952, in Sebring, Florida, to Ralph Waldo Griffith and Yvonne Delores Prescott. Russell worked as a Truck Driver for Crete Corp. Russell loved photography, boating, and traveling.

Russell is preceded in death by his parents; son, Tim Nitsche; and sister, Beverly Langford and husband Charles. Russell is survived by his wife of 36 years, Micki Griffith; daughter Sybil Griffith of Lake Wales; sons, Jacob Griffith of Lake Wales, Seven Griffith, Michael C. Nitsche of Lake Wales, and Justin Takacs; Sister, Janice Hightower and husband Jimmy of Lake Wales; and grandchildren, Kyle, Logan, Zachary, Jonathan, Tate, Preston, Niki , Emma, Thea, Charlotte, Oliver, Lakey, Lilly, and Jack.
