William Leroy Franks, 71

William L. Franks of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 at his residence.

He was born August 25, 1946 in Tecumseh, Michigan to the late Leroy and Vera (Dubois) Franks. He has been a resident of the area since 2001 coming from Mulliken, Michigan. He was a Factory Worker for Motor Wheel in Michigan. William was a Veteran in the United States Army serving in Viet Nam.

Survivors include his wife Mary Franks, daughters Lori Barth and husband Doug of Adrian, MI, June Gonzalez of Adrian, MI, Tara Lithander and husband Donnie of Eaton Rapids, MI, sons Michael Franks of Lake Wales, FL, Terry Crosby and wife Mae of Poinca City, OK, sisters Dariel Kipp and husband Roy of Lansing, MI, Maletta McQueen of Lansing, MI, Patricia Watson; brothers Neil Franks (Taffy) of TN, Chuck McQueen of MI, Michael Franks ( Seiko) ; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
