FROSTPROOF -- Mr. William A. "Bill" Fann of Frostproof died of lung failure Tuesday (June 27, 2006) at Royal Care of Avon Park. He was 86.

Born in Dexter, Ga., on June 27, 1920, he came to Frostproof from Palmetto in 1928. He was a former store owner, and he retired from Keen Fruit Co.

Mr. Fann is survived by his wife, Evelyn Fann; daughters, Brenda Marshall, Avon Park, Holly McCraw, Frostproof; sons, Jimmy Fann, Mike Fann, Bo Fann, all of Frostproof; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Frostproof.
