William Nelson “Bill” Clark, 81

William Nelson “Bill” Clark of Winter Haven passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at his residence.

He was born August 15, 1939 in Tampa to the late Cecil and Clessie Clark; he has been a lifelong resident of the area. Bill was a retired Civil Engineer and owner of Clark Engineering. He was a veteran of the United States Marines, serving as an aircraft electrician from 1958 until 1964. Bill was a member of Golfview Baptist Church and was a Sunday school teacher there. He was a Gideon and loved to golf. He enjoyed being a boy scout leader and loved his family and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his brother and sister. He is survived by his daughters, Pamela G. Anderson of Polk City, and Beverly Doucet and husband Seth of Saint Augustine; son, William Clark, Jr. of Orlando; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Golfview Baptist Church in Lake Wales with Rev. David Koon officiating. Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
