William Joseph Carrieri

William Joseph Carrieri, of Lake Wales, Florida, passed away on October 22, 2026, in Lake Wales. He was born on July 7, 1947, in West Chester, New York.

William was a mechanic for amusement parks, a line of work that reflected both his skill and his strong dedication to hard work. He was known as a workaholic, someone who gave himself fully to the tasks before him and took pride in staying busy. Outside of his work, he liked to spend time outdoors in his yard, where he found enjoyment in working with his hands and caring for his surroundings.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Carrieri, who shared his life and love. He is also survived by his sister, Mary of Palm Beach, Florida, and by his brother, Frank Carrieri, and Frank’s wife, Alexis, of Port Chester, New York. William was preceded in death by his mother, Antonette Gentile, and his father, Faust Carrieri.

William will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his practical talents, and the steady way he moved through life. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.
