William Edward Caraway passed away on September 3, 2026, at his residence. He was born on January 24, 1953, in Frostproof, Florida.
William served his country in the United States Army. He also spent his working years driving semi trucks, a job that reflected his steady and hardworking nature. Outside of work, he enjoyed many simple pleasures in life. He liked fishing, hunting, shooting guns, and cars, and he had a special interest in eagles.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Caraway; his step-daughter, Karen Burcham; and his parents, Charles Caraway and Betty Feaster.
William is survived by his son, Jimmy Caraway; sisters, Martha Dease of Lake Wales, Nancy Kilburn of Lake Wales, and Bonnie Caraway of Babson Park; brother, Gene Caraway of Alturas, and Gene’s wife, Debra; as well as many nieces and nephews.
William will be remembered for a life marked by service, hard work, and the things he loved most. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.
