William “Bill” Croman, 85

William “Bill” Croman of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

He was born May 29, 1938 in Berwick, Pennsylvania to the late Albert and Gladys Croman; he moved to Lake Wales, Florida from Drums, Pennsylvania in 1971. Bill was a supervisor for GTE from 1971 until 1993 and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Florida Gators and enjoyed square dancing and stain glass crafting. Bill especially loved having corn roasts and get togethers with his friends and family.

Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred “Millie” Croman; and brother, Albert “Jay” Croman. He is survived by his daughter, Lynne Ullrich and husband Carl of Grottoes, Virginia; sons, James “Jim” Croman of Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania, and William “Bill” Croman of Bartow, Florida; brother, Russell Croman of Quarryville, Pennsylvania; and grandchildren, Nicolas Ullrich and Emma Ullrich.

Services will be held at a later date in Drums, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation in Bills honor to the charity of your choice.
