William "Bill" Angold

William "Bill" Angold of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, March 1, 2012 at The Groves Center.

He was born February 5, 1926 in Detroit, MI to the late Leonard and Ella (Clickner) Angold; and came to Lake Wales from Detroit in 1946. He was retired from Holly Hill Fruit Company as a fruit receiver, a member of the First Assembly of God in Lake Wales, and a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Merchant Marines.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Angold; daughters, Reba Earls (Michael) of Daytona, Audrey O'Connor of Lake City, and Lorie Jones of Lake Wales; sons, Burton Angold of Denver, CO, Billy Angold of Denver, CO, Thomas Jones of Lake Wales, and Michael Jones of Lake Wales; Nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at the First Assembly of God in Lake Wales, with Rev. Walter Nelson officiating.
