WILLIAM BERRY, 62

FROSTPROOF -- Mr. William Berry of Frostproof died of heart failure Thursday (Dec. 22, 2005) at Florida Hospital. He was 62.

Born in Hamilton County on Nov. 9, 1943, he came to Frostproof from Humble, Texas, in 1999. He was a retired telephone supervisor for Central Telephone Services in Texas. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a Baptist.

Mr. Berry is survived by his wife, Erleen Berry; daughter, Tina Urbina, Tampa; sons, Michael A. Berry, St. Louis, James Griffin, Thomas Griffin, Joseph Griffin, all of Frostproof; brother, James Edward Berry, Lakeland; sisters, Susie Parker, Tupelo, Miss., Lize Jenkins, Lakeland; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Marion Nelson Funeral Home of Frostproof. Burial will be in Silver Hill Cemetery.
