William David Barker

William David Barker, Jr., 60, of Lake Wales, Florida passed Monday, August 8, 2022, at Adventhealth of Lake Wales.

He was born May 16, 1962, in Hackettstown, New Jersey to William and Norma (Ball) Barker, Sr., and he has been a resident of this area since 1972 moving here from New Jersey. He was an Appliance Repairman for L&L Appliance and attended Impact Church of Lake Wales. William loved trains, motorcycles and especially VW Beetles.

He was preceded in death by Tommy Brandi.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Mary Barker; sons, Aaron Barker of Lake Wales, Jeffrey Barker of Lake Wales, Brian Barker of Winter Haven; brothers; Robert Barker wife Tammy of Lake Wales, James Barker wife Liz of Lake Wales; Parents, William David, Sr. and Norma Barker of Lake Wales; 7 grandchildren; Aunt, Marjorie Steele; cousins, Dawn Sebring, Butch McKinney; extended family, Sabrina Pollard, Kevin Adkison, Matthew Meyers, Andrea Barker.

Celebration of life will be held 10:00 AM and a second service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, August 19, 2022, at the Lake Wales Masonic Lodge.
