William E. Allen, 88, of Frostproof, FL, died Saturday, May 10, 2008 at his residence of cancer.

Born October 7, 1919 in Leonardsville, New York. He moved to Frostproof 5 years ago from Leonardsville. He was a former member of the Masonic Lodge in Bridgewater, New York and a US Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Allen and a son, Terry Allen; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date in Leonardsville, New York.
