Willa Esther Walko

Willa Esther Walko, 86 of Babson Park, Florida passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 at Somers Hospice House in Sebring. She was born on July 17, 1929 in Arlington, Florida to the late Raymond E. and Clara Belle (Hewitt) Newton, Sr. and she has been a resident of this area since 1978 moving here from Miami. She was a retired School Bus Driver and a member of the Christian Fellowship Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas G. Walko in 1992; son, Brion D. Broxson in 1995 and her 3 brothers. Survivors include her daughters, Karen Keen (William) of Babson Park, Julie Hudson (Tim) of Lake Wales; grandchildren, Bart, Matthew, Megan, Jacob, Thomas and Joshua. Visitation will be held 12:00 PM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Thelma Gandy officiating. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
