Wilford H. Wilcox, 79, of Lake Wales, FL died Friday, May 4, 2007 at Lake Wales Medical Center.

Born October 7, 1927 in Alexander, New York; he came to the area from Palatka, FL 36 years ago. Mr. Wilcox was of the Baptist faith, he loved to watch western movies and baseball.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years Betty Wilcox of Lake Wales; daughters Cathy Huggins of Lake Wales, Linda Hatton of Lake Wales, Gail Howell of Lake Wales; sons David Wilcox of Lake Wales, Ronald Wilcox of Winter Haven; sister Helen Herman of Warsaw,NY; 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am Monday, May 7, 2007 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales.
