Wilbur Champ Lewis, Jr., 85 of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015 at his residence.
He was born on April 13, 1930 in Winter Haven, Florida to the late Wilbur Champ and Myrtle (Godwin) Lewis, Sr. and he has been a lifelong resident of this area.
He was a retired Lineman for GTE, was a body builder and owner of a health food store. He loved karaoke, was loved by everyone and served in the US Army.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Lewis of Lake Wales; daughter, Donna Wemple of Lake Wales; sons, Rex Lewis of Winter Haven, Fred Root of Lakeland; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Celebration of life service will be held Sat. 11/7/15 3:00 PM Y'all Come Back Saloon.
