Wilbert Charles “Red” Burrows
January 9, 1930 – January 2, 2007
The best husband and father you could ever ask for. He loved his family and life to the fullest. Wib grew up in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania sporting a head of red hair and giving rise to his nickname “Red” as he was so affectionately called. He moved to Hollywood, Florida in 1950 raising a family with his first wife Kathleen and where he began his life long career as a milkman working for Home Milk and McArthur Diaries. In 1980 he met and married Pearl his best friend. They later retired to Lake Placid, Florida where they loved to fish and travel. He will be sorely missed by his wife, Pearl and his children Karen, Brad, Joyce, Cindy, Debbie, Ricky, Robert, Andy, the late Annetta, spouses, David, Nancy, Bill, Steve the late Tommy, Debbie, grandchildren David, Tracey, Brandi, Kylee, Amberlee, Allison, Christina, Ryan, Alec, Sara and Natalie and great-grandchildren Kayleigh, Hanna, Bradley, Trey, Emma, Ella and David.
You gave us the best years of your life – thanks for the journey – may you rest in peace. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Friday (1-5-07) at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with funeral services at 1:00 PM, Saturday (1-6-07) at the funeral home.
