Wendy V. Schwendler

Wendy Schwendler of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born March 28, 1938 in Mineola, New York to the late Andrew and Barbara (Horlock) Valentine. She has been a resident of the area for 11 years coming from Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. She enjoyed playing Bridge and travelling in the RV. She was a homemaker, loving wife and mother, and a member of the Church of the Good Shepard in Lake Wales.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years Richard C. Schwendler of Lake Wales, FL, daughters Amanda Schwendler Roman and husband Tony of Baltimore, MD, Peg Schwendler of Royersford, PA, sister Nancy Terrel and husband Stephen of Palm Desert, CA.

Memorial service will be held 1:00PM Monday, December 21, 2015 at the Church of the Good Shepard in Lake Wales with Rev. Fr. Thomas Seitz Jr. officiating.
