WAYNE EUGENE STATON, 61
Wayne Eugene Staton of Lake Wales passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 at the Brandon Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 7, 1956 in Oneonta, AL to the late Ralph and Dorothy Staton; he was a lifelong resident of Lake Wales. He was a retired mechanic for Dawson’s Scenic Service and member of the New Beginnings Worship Center. He enjoyed duck hunting and restoring vehicles. He always liked to attend bar-b-que’s and fish fry’s; was dedicated to the Lord and his church.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Donna R. Staton; son, Dylan Staton of Lake Wales; sister, Patricia Staton Kopp (James) of Lake Wales; and one brother, Steven Michael Staton of Lake Wales.

Family will receive friends Friday, January 5, 2018 from 6:00PM until service time at 6:30PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. Joe Kennedy officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed.
