LAKE WALES -- Mr. Wayne Payton Skinner of Lake Wales died of heart failure Saturday (Oct. 8, 2005) at Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale. He was 63.

Born in Lake Wales on Jan. 17, 1942, he was a lifelong resident. He was a building contractor in commercial and residential construction. He was a Baptist.

Mr. Skinner is survived by his daughter, Cathy Dawson, Lake Wales; brothers, Walter Skinner, Avon Park, Charles Skinner, High Springs, James Skinner, North Carolina; sisters, Teri Sperry, Seffner, Lori Glasco, Lake Wales; one grandchild.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Lake Wales Cemetery.
