WAYNE PRICE, 47

HAINES CITY--Wayne “Papa Bear” Price, 47, of Haines City died Thursday, July 12, 2007 at the Florida Hospital Waterman in Tavares, FL.

Born April 30, 1960 in Lawrence County, TN; he came here from Tennessee in 1975. He worked at R & K Welding in Lake Hamilton. He was a member of the Westside Baptist Church of Lake Wales and enjoyed fishing, working on cars, vegetable and rose gardening. He was former Golfview Park Fire Department Volunteer and active in Little League.

Mr. Price was preceded in death by his father, Carl Edward Price. Survivors include his wife, Fay Price of Haines City; daughters, Christy Ann Croft of Lake Wales; Kim Chapman of Haines City; son, John Price of Lake Wales; mother, Bernadine Price of Auburndale; brothers, Jim Price of Adamsville, TN; Ray Price of Bartow; Tommy Price of New Orleans, LA; Willie Price of Auburndale; sister, Cyndi Keen of Winter Haven; 6 grandsons, Hunter, Connor, Landon, Colton, Mason and Trenton.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Maylon Smith officiating. Interment will be held at Whidden Cemetery.
