Wanda Thompson

Wanda Thompson was born on July 4, 1936, in Dangerfield, Texas. She lived a long and meaningful life until she passed away on May 15, 2026, at AdventHealth Lake Wales under the care of Vitas Hospice.

Wanda was a woman of strong faith and belonged to the Baptist community throughout her life. She loved the outdoors and could often be found going bird watching or gardening. She loved her kids, grand kids, and great grandkids overall else.

Wanda was the daughter of T.W. and Etna Fowler, who have passed before her. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Thompson. She is survived by her loving daughter, Karen Walker and her husband Joe of Lake Wales; grandchildren, Kandi Shelton and husband Chris, Dallas Walker, and Emily Walker; great-grandchildren, Brianna Baker and husband Cameron, Leslie Shelton, and Walker Davis who is due in October of this year; as well as great-great-grandchildren, Parker and Maggie.
