Walter Frank Parks, 77

Walter Frank Parks of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Oaks of Avon in Avon Park.

He was born October 29, 1945 in Miami Beach to the late Cecil and Hazel Parks; he moved to Lake Wales from Margate in 2020. Walter was a retired 911 dispatcher for the Broward County Sheriff’s Office and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Unity Pompano Beach Church and liked art, paintings, and classical music.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, David and Samuel.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, August 7, 2023 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
