LAKE WALES -- Mrs. Virginia Louise Cronin of Lake Wales died of heart failure Tuesday (Dec. 6, 2005) at The Grove Center. She was 90.

Born in Columbus, Ohio, on June 1, 1915, she came to Lake Wales from Palm Coast in 1995. She was a retired communications technician for Pan American Airways. She was a Baptist.

Mrs. Cronin is survived by her daughter, Dolores Mendes, Lake Wales; brother, Wilson Brooks Jr., Leesburg; sister, Dawn Marie Waller, California; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Marion Nelson Funeral Home of Lake Wales.
