Virginia Mae Childress, 81, of Frostproof passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

Born August 3, 1926 in Indianapolis, Indiana, she moved to Frostproof three years ago from Riverside, California. She enjoyed Bingo, collecting stuffed animals and was of Methodist Faith.

She is survived by her companion Thorton Loudermilk of Frostproof, daughters; Carrie Amerson of Riverview, FL, Lois Hernandez of Lake City, FL, Marsha Anderson of Seffner, FL, Terrey Mulligan of Riverview, FL Marrietta Gamble of Corona, NY, sons; Steven Loudermilk of Jackson, MS, Christopher McCain of Brandon, FL, Herbert Tillett of Gainsville, FL, James Bullock of Dayton, OH, 25 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
