Virginia Lee Bullard, 78 of Lake Wales, Florida passed Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Groves Center.

She was born October 21, 1939 in Lake Wales, Florida to the late Clifford H. and Gladys Irene (Paulk) Johnson and she has been a lifelong resident of this area. She was a retired Cafeteria worker for the Polk County School Board. She was a member of the Emanuel Baptist Church Fellowship in Frostproof and served in the US Marines. Virginia loved football especially the Dallas Cowboys and the Florida Gators.

Survivors include her brothers, Clifford “Greg” Johnson of Virginia, Gary Johnson and wife Mary of Babson Park, Wayne Johnson of Lake Wales, James Johnson of Georgia, Cliff Johnson of Lake Wales; sister, Annette “Beverly” Diles of Georgia.

Visitation will be held 9:30 am until 10:30 am Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with graveside services being held 11:00 am at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
