Virginia Griner Bronson

Virginia Griner Bronson, 73 of Lake Wales passed away Monday, September 9, 2013 at her residence.

She was born April 9, 1940 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Thomas and Dora Lee (Davis) Baker and has been a resident of the area since 1987 moving here from Baltimore, Maryland. Ginny was a retired Boxing Line Worker for Washington Mills Ceramics, a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting works of art and had a green thumb for gardening. Ginny enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a strong supporter of feeding the children, was dearly love by all that knew her and she will be deeply missed.

Virginia was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Griner and second husband Chester G. Bronson, Jr.

Survivors include her son, Walter J. Griner of Marion, Maryland; daughters, Melinda L.Griner- Shurig of Galloway, New Jersey, Cynthia L. Reynolds of Baltimore, MD; 7 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren

Graveside services will be held 2:30 PM Friday, September 13, 2013 at Lakeside Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Scott Thompson officiating.
