DADE CITY--Virgie Ada Foxx of Dade City died of heart failure Sunday (Nov. 05, 2006) at her residence. She was 89.
Born October 14, 1917 in Zolfo Springs; she moved to Dade City 2 years ago. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her sons, Jim Fox of Dade City; Darrell Foxx of Johnson City, TN; Mike Foxx of Odessa; sisters, Bea Whatley of Polk City; Vida Mae Harrell of Auburndale; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 until service time at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 08, 2006 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
