Violet M. Hogan of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at Somers Hospice House in Sebring, Florida.

She was born July 11, 1924 in Dayton, Ohio to the late William Jerry and Ada Ethel Glendorothy (Sipe) Hogan. She has been a resident of the area since 2004 coming from Centerville, Ohio. She was a homemaker.

Violet graduated from Fairview High School in 1942, having been a member of the varsity field hockey team.

She is preceded in death by her brothers Sylvester Hogan and Kenneth E. Hogan.

Survivors include her daughters Marlene L. Rung of Aurora, CO, Janice L. Bennett of Thornton, CO, sons Robert E. Stemple of Frostproof, FL, Mark E. Stemple of Winter Haven, FL and John T. Stemple of Winter Haven, FL, 9 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Interment will be at Parish Cemetery in Clay Township.
