Viola L. Perez, 64

Viola L. Perez of Frostproof passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at her residence.

She was born July 24, 1956 in Matamoros, Mexico to the late Antonio and Amelia Garza; she moved to Frostproof from Fort Meade in 1987. Viola was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She loved her grandbabies and was a devout Christian.

Viola was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Perez; parents, Antonio and Amelia Garza; and sister-in-law, Julia. She is survived by her daughters, Rubie Kauffman (Steven) of Lake Wales, Sherrie Sampson (Robby) of Lakeland, and Lucy Piller (Andy) of Sebring; son, J.R. Perez of Frostproof; sisters, Dora Gracia (Francisco) of Texas, Amelia Gutierrez (Armando) of Clewiston, Martha Bella (Agapito) of Texas, and Josefina Almazan (Javier) of West Palm Beach; brothers, Emiliano Garza of Frostproof, Ernesto Garza (Yadira) of South Lake Wales, Antonio Garza (Florencia) of Homestead, Jesus Garza (Janie) of West Palm Beach, and Hugo Garza (Laura) of West Palm Beach; and grandchildren, Tristan, Haley, Alana, Landon, Abby, Chloe, Hanna, Bella, and Trey.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. Chad Tingley officiating.
