Vincent Wayne Trigo

Vincent Wayne “Vince” Trigo of Lake Wales passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

He was born February 10, 1939 in Tampa, FL to the late Vicente & Murry Trigo; and he came here from Hammond, IN in 1999. He retired after 30 years from Ford Motor Company, was of the Baptist faith and served from 1956 until 1960 in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Valparaiso, IN and enjoyed hunting, boating and spending time with his family and friends.

Vince was preceded in death by his son, Vincent D. Trigo; sister, Veda Slate; daughter-in-law, Pam Trigo and a great-granddaughter, Alyson Roberts. Survivors include his wife, Willie D. Trigo; daughter, Jacqulynn Trigo Wheeler of Hobart, IN; sons, Charles A. Trigo and wife, Maria of Speedwell, TN and Keith Wayne Trigo and wife, Kara of Port St. Lucie, FL; sister, Kay Seldon and husband, Dale of Plant City, FL; brother, Tommie Williams of Plant City, FL; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 pm Monday, May 12, 2014 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales, FL. Burial will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, IN.
