Victor Ray Thorn

Victor R. Thorn of Frostproof, passed away on Sunday, January 14, after a long illness.
He was born in Alabama on May 7, 1939.
Preceded in death by his infant daughter and son Terry Dean.
Survived by his wife Betty Jean Thorn of 43 years. Sons Shane R. Thorn (Lynn), Lowell E. Pickels (Stacee) and their sons Jasper, Mitchell and Kersey (Kat) and their children Delaney and Anderson. Daughters Betty Pickels Parr and children Cassandra, Christina, and Stanley Parr and Paula Pickels Black (Colby) and their daughters Amanda Black (Curtis) and child Kenzlee, Casey Black Roberts (Justin) and child Addison. He was loved by many nephews and a niece.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 19th at 3:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof with Pastor David Durham officiating.
Interment will take place at Silver Hills Cemetery at a later date.
