FROSTPROOF--Victor M. Cook of Frostproof died Saturday, February 03, 2007 at the Groves Center. He was 89.
Born February 26, 1917 in South Bend, IN; he came moved here from Sarasota 22 years ago. He worked in management in the banking and real estates industries. He was of the Catholic faith and a veteran of World War II and Korea, serving in the U.S. Army Air Force. He was a graduate of Notre Dame.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Yvette Cook in 2007. Survivors include his daughter, Jeanne Stevenson of El Paso, TX; son, Victor C. "Joe" Cook; sister, Peggy Jackson of Galveston, TX; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
No services are scheduled.
