Veta R. Wyrosdick of Lake Wales passed away Sunday February 13, 2022. She was born on January 27, 1941, in Lake Wales to William Cody and Ida Dampier. She was the owner and operator of Visible Changes hair salon. Her passions include canning, crocheting, and seamstress.

Veta is preceded in death by her daughter Kristina and is survived by her husband of 47 years John H. “Pete” Wyrosdick of Lake Wales; her daughter Theresa “Terri” Beasley and husband Bruce of Lake Wales; her sons Richard White and wife Brenda of Babson Park, and Matthew Wyrosdick of Lake Wales; her sisters Sandra Jackson and husband Sonny of Lake Wales, and Carol Lamons and husband Bryan of Lake Wales; and brothers Paxton Dampier and wife Jeannetta of Placentia, CA, W.C. Dampier and wife Beverly of Lake Wales; and 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Family to receive friends on Saturday February 19, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel at Marion Nelson Funeral Home with service to follow at 3:00 PM. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.marionnelsonfuneralhome.com .
