Trudy Ann Hafer Sullivan, 67
Trudy Ann Hafer Sullivan, was born on December 29, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio, she went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 24, 2019. She leaves behind a husband, Earle Sullivan of 47 ½ years and their Jackrussell dog, Scruffy. She had 2 Children, Erik D. Sullivan (Tabitha) and Stacey J. Way (David), and her 2 grandchildren whom she loved so much, Spencer and Jacqueline. She has also 3 sisters and 1 brother: George A. Hafer, Donna Hafer Coven, Linda Hafer, and Terri Hafer Goss, and lots of cousins, nieces and nephews as well. Preceded in Death are her parents: George Thomas Hafer and Bulah Ona Hatfield Hafer and her brother-n-law, Roger H. Sullivan that passed on 2/16/19.
Trudy was a retired Polk County ESE Para Teacher of 30 years, at Oscar Polk and Southwest Elementary, all of the children she worked with she considered her own and loved them to the fullest. Trudy was the sweetest to life, smart with such unique wisdom. She dressed beautifully, always had perfect hair, painted nails, cutest shoes, and jewelry to match her dress attire. Her Children and Grandchildren were her life! She was a strong and proud woman who was determined to raise independent children who believed in their ability to accomplish anything they set their mind to. She enjoyed boating with her husband, camping with her family, going out to eat, she loved watching movies and listening to Elvis, but above all her Family and Faith in God was her Love of Her Life.
The family asks that in Lieu of Flowers, Please make a contribution to either Shriners Hospital or Special Olympics. A Celebration of Life will be held at the clubhouse of Orange Acres Ranch, 5130 ABC Road, Lake Wales, Florida, 33859 on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 1pm-4pm
